We will discuss further details with you during the application process., This role in the Wayra team supports the Chief Strategy Officer to drive value through startups for Telefónica Germany. For the role you need network in the European Startup- & VC eco-system and execute high-level stakeholder and project management in and for Telefónica. What are your challenges with us? * Stakeholder Management with Telefónica's business units (BUs) to understand their current challenges and opportunities in order to drive digital transformation and innovation * Screen and source startup market and evaluate solutions based on the needs of the BUs * End-to-end project management for proof of concepts between startups & business units as part of the Wayra acceleration program * Be in the lead for individidual Venture Developmemt inititiatives to ensure Wayra's success and the acceleration program fast track processes * Liaise with the European startup and VC Ecosystem to leverage the three different programmes by introducing the start-ups to VCs and Telefónica * Ensure and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders and represent the Wayra brand to the highest standard internally and externally to drive deal flow and business opportunities for startups to hit our annual KPIs
* Have at least 2-4 years of proven project management skills in a startup, open innovation hub, accelerator, VC or project management within a digital transformation unit of an organization * Strong commercial awareness with understanding of financial principles and using new business models. * Good understanding of the mind-sets and mode of operations of start-ups and the innovation process in a large organization * Financial Management knowledge a plus (to understand startups and where they are in the fundraise process, red flags in their development) * Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships. * Strong team player, proven ability to work cooperatively with various cross functional teams * Complex stakeholders management to different stakeholder levels internally & externally * Proven curiosity about new technologies and innovation * Startup and VC ecosystem knowledge * Fluent in German & English
